Satans Foothold

I've been a Christian for a while now, but I still stuggle being a Christian, I know and I knew that becoming a follower of Jesus wasn't going to be easy, in fact it was going to be harder than before. Because Satan goes after christians more so than non believers because he wants to pull us away from our good God. I was born into a world of sin and so was everyone else. There are things in my life that satan brings up all the time that cause me to stumble. He knows my faults and he will use all his power to bring me down. Satan is a dirtbag that way. I know my sin makes God upset. It's the footholds that satan has in my life that keep me from drawing close to God. It say when we are week God is strong. So I need to have faith in God that he will take care of those footholds because God has already won me over and Satan really has no place in my life. So I think it's surrendering everything to God that will draw you closer to him and further away from this world and Satan.
